A webinar (web + seminar) is a web conference held over the Internet. It can include question/answer sessions to allow full participation between the audience and the presenter. No special software or hardware is required to attend a webinar other than headphones and a microphone, which may be required to listen to the presenter and ask him questions. Some webinars may also provide a video feed so a web camera can be used as an option.
Entensys uses Webex platform from Cisco Corporation to host its webinars. The webinars are free to join for anyone, including our partners and clients.
As soon as you apply for participating in a webinar and your application is approved you will receive an e-mail with the information on how to connect to the webinar, including a URL and a password.
Clicking on the URL will bring up a page in your Internet browser. Fill in the form on the page with your name, e-mail and the password that you received in the confirmation e-mail and click “Join now”. If you have never used WebEx service before you will be offered to install Webex Meeting Manager. This is a client-side program that is provided by the Cisco WebEx meeting service. It is automatically installed and configured the first time a user begins or joins a webinar.
For the Webex Meeting Center to work properly your computer should conform the following system requirements:
